STEP3 Suitability Examination

Undergoing an eye examination will be required to determine which type of LASIK treatment would be most suitable for you based on your visual needs and lifestyle. After undergoing 10 different types of eye examinations, our doctor will review the examination data to determine which type of LASIK would most suitable for you.

Term to stop wearing contact lenses

※After the examination, patients will also be required to stop wearing contact lenses again before the treatment date.

STEP4 Counselling

Our counsellor will explain the details of your upcoming refraction treatment.
Please use this time to ask any questions and/or concerns without any hesitation.

STEP5 Consultation

The doctor will do a further examination of your eyes and review the results of your examination.
An explanation of the treatment most suited for the patient will be explained and questions will be answered.

STEP6 Treatment Day

A final eye examination will be performed to determine if there are any changes in the condition of the eyes and to cross-check data from the first examination.
Once the doctor has verified the results, the treatment will be performed.

STEP7 Post-Treatment

After the treatment, some precautions will be needed during the healing period of the eyes.
During the first week post-treatment, wearing sunglasses or protective eye wear is highly recommended to protect the eyes from dust and debris.

Post-Treatment

Suitability for refractive treatment

To focus on providing safe vision correction treatments, we will not be able to offer our services to patients under the following guidelines or conditions:

  • Under 18yrs old of age
  • Presently pregnant
  • Diabetes or autoimmune disease (※Considerations will be made depending on the condition's stability)
  • Insufficient corneal thickness (can be determined through examinations)
  • Irregular corneal shape (can be determined through examinations)
  • Having corneal inflammation or uveitis (can be determined through examinations)
